APPLICATIONS

Liquid Penetrant Testing can be applied for detection of surface defects in both non-ferromagnetic and ferromagnetic materials. The method is generally applied for non-ferromagnetic materials such as stainless and aluminum. Applications of MT include:

• Welds in stainless steel components
• Gas Turbine Rotor, Disk, Blades and diaphragm
• SS Vessels in chemical plants
• Aerospace components
