EPRI'S EVALUATION OF NDE ASSOCIATES, INC.
In 1998, NDE Associates, Inc. participated in a round robin test conducted by EPRI. The tests were conducted on heat exchanger mockups with known defects. Five different systems were evaluated on four different tube materials. Defect types included pits, cracks, tube wear thinning, tube support wear, grooving and loose parts damage. NDE Associates had the highest detection reliability for ECT inspection of non-ferromagnetic tubing. The test results of NDE Associates are given below in Table 1. ( Ref.
