DETECTING TUBE DEFECTS WITH HIGH RELIABILITY NDE Associates, Inc. provides eddy current testing services for heat exchanger tubing. Heat exchanger tube inspections in petrochemical plants and power plants are done to detect various kinds of defects including ID and OD pitting, cracking and SCC, Microbial Induced Corrosion (MIC) damage, support wear, cracking in the tubesheet expansion roll, wear, erosion, etc. NDE Associates, Inc. inspectors are also trained in noticing the differences between defects and signals from metallic deposits.
